Design

We can design a completely bespoke cake for you that is not part of the collection. Prices are available on request (from approx. €1,500). All Schnabulerie designs are subject to copyright law. Any use, adaptation and/or misappropriation, in whole or in part, is prohibited without our express authorisation. Our cake designs can be adapted to your individual wishes within the options we offer you. This may result in changes to the price.

Allergies

The Schnabulerie range contains lactose, gluten and nuts. On request we’re happy to create products that meet your specific dietary needs. However, these will be produced in the same environment as all other products and may therefore contain traces of allergenic ingredients. Schnabulerie accepts no liability for any allergic reactions. We’re happy to inform you in detail about our ingredients.

Payment, deposits and cancellation

Booking from the main range: Once you’ve booked you’ll receive a written confirmation with a detailed list of the products you’ve ordered. The deposit is 50% of the invoice amount. The full amount must be paid no later than one week before the delivery date. You can cancel up to three weeks before the delivery date, but 25% of the full amount is retained as a handling fee. If the order is cancelled after this date the whole amount is due, because the products will already be being made. You can request changes up to three weeks before the delivery date. If this leads to any changes to the price you’ll be informed immediately.

Cake Tasting: You’re welcome to book a tasting session on request. The price – €30 for two people – will be refunded if you go on to book a cake costing at least €390. Since each tasting date is booked exclusively for one couple, please note that we must charge in full for any cancellations within 24 hours or for no-shows.

Booking classes: Registrations are binding. Unfortunately we can’t accept any cancellations – but you’re welcome to transfer your place to someone else.

Delivery

We deliver cakes costing €550 and above free of charge in the Baden and Mödling area and in Districts 1, 3–8, 10–16 and 23 of Vienna.  Deliveries within a radius of 100km are charged with the official Austrian mileage rates. Deliveries further afield are possible. Please ask us. The person responsible at the event venue confirms correct and undamaged delivery by signing the delivery note. Schnabulerie accepts no liability for any later damage.

Hire of Cakestands

You’re welcome to hire appropriate cake stands from our range, if available. This service is free but we require a deposit amounting to the value of the hired items. The deposit is paid back once the items have been returned to us, no later than three calendar days after being hired and without any damage. In the event of any damage, regardless of the type and extent, we will keep the full deposit. If the items are returned late, we charge a hire fee of €10 per day after the fourth day.

Classes

The classes are aimed at amateurs and hobby bakers. Any commercial use of the designs, lettering or course handouts is prohibited. Booking courses: Your place is secured once you pay the course fee. You can cancel up to two weeks before the course date. The cancellation fee is 25%. Unfortunately we can’t accept any cancellations later than this – but you’re welcome to transfer your place to someone else. Occasionally we have to cancel a course – if so the participants are informed as soon as possible.

Vouchers

Vouchers can’t be exchanged for cash.

Competitions

Competitions are open to anyone aged 18 and above. Prizes can’t be paid in cash. All decisions are final. Competitions held via Facebook are not in any way sponsored, supported or organised by Facebook..
