Marie Christine

Marie Christine was the only daughter of Empress Maria Theresia to be allowed to marry for love. With her husband Albert von Sachsen-Teschen, who built the Albertina palace in Vienna, she shared her love of the graphic arts, as reflected here in the symmetrical royal icing on the cake.
